Hi everyone,

I hope you’re enjoying the beautiful weekend.

Here’s what we just finished doing.  http://www.ErvinsFitness.com/  Cycling long distance is great exercise.  It helps to build endurance, stamina, lose weight & gain strength in the legs.  We were riding in the B group.  This is Lilli and I, first 75 mile bike ride.  I tested out my new rode bike for the first on with the ride.  Here’s the video to check out.

Wow, I have not riding that far before or even trained for this with my new bike.  Now my bum is sore.

We are now off to do a night of orienteering with a compass to find checkpoints with a compass at Red Hills. then camp out with friends and enjoy a beer.

Hope your having a great weekend. Great weather to be out an active.
Here is what we did after a 21 mile mountain bike ride.
It’s the Survivor Mud Run Nor Cal.

Watch the fun others have playing in the mud racing.
It was starting to feel like summer. It was 91 degrees here.
Find an event and start to train for it. Get your friends together, so you can have exercise buddies to be accountable to. Have fun training for the event, do the event & then find another event to train for. Most of the fun is your training.

I hope are well.

I’ve set myself a goal and plan on doing the SurvivorMudRun in Lathrop, Ca. next weekend.  So, I need to get training for it.  Lilli and I will both be doing this event.  So we do some running at Red Hills and mountain bike riding to improve our cardio.

Hi everyone,

I’m back.  Hope all has been good in your world.  The weather is a bit crazy. It’s been raining around here, and lots of wind.

There’s an awesome event coming up in 2 weeks.  I’ll be running in this survivor mud run in Lathrop and so will Lilli.  My friends Ray and Carey will be doing this also.  These guys are amazing 60 yrs old.  and they compete in 5 day adventure races.  That’s competing with others from around the world navigating using a compass hiking, mountain bike riding and paddling looking for checkpoints.  It’s a really intense event, so this will be something a bit different for them.  I will be using gopro cameras capturing the event for you to see what it will consist of.  So, stay tune and watch my youtube.com/ERuheJrFitness channel or ErvinsFitness channel, also.

Let the training begin, which I’m always training for something.  Just to do it for fun.

Set yourself a goal and train for an event.  The will keep you motivated to exercise and have fun for better health.

Hi everyone,

I hope you have been enjoying the weather today and from the rest of the week.  It’s getting warmer, but now there was a change with the weather.  We got some rain in the area, before it came. There was some good strong winds, so Lilli and I went to meet with our friend Mark and do some power kite flying using our triainer kites and playing on his landboard.  This was both Mark and I first time using the landboard.  Here’s the video footage from today.  Then the rains came in strong, so we had to end the session early.
